Blanquart's Rusty Gem began the way most good things do — with one too many treasures and nowhere to put them.
What started as a passion for estate-sale hunting has become a destination on East Main Street: two full floors of antiques, vintage finds, and gently worn pieces — set inside the historic Keil's Gifts building, a downtown Belleville landmark in its own right.
We believe the best objects aren't perfect — they're patinated, honest, and a little bit unexpected. Every piece on the floor has been chosen by us, priced fairly, and given a second life.
Most of what you'll find comes from our own collecting — decades of estate sales, barn finds, and the occasional happy accident. The rest is brought in by a small, trusted group of vendors we love working with, which keeps the floor fresh and full of surprises every time you visit.

And if you hear a soft snore from behind the counter — that's JuJu, our shop English bulldog. She has her own pen, her own fan club, and very strong opinions about belly rubs.
